guys i have a problem, usually im pretty good at these things but this i cant figure out.. OK first of all this is how it started.

i went to my friends house to install a webcam that she has purchased. I downloaded the drivers from logitech and proceded to install. It took a long time to install and while it installed it gave the warning that the driver is not windows certified, so i just clicked ignore. but the webcam never did work.
Then i came home took the webcam with me and installed it on my computer and it installed in a breeze (we both have xp) and it worked fine.
so tonite i went there with an idea maybe i have to install directx 9 on her pc, cuz logitech does say it needs it so i went to the webpage and went to download it and while it was installing it tells me again "its not windows certified" how in the hell is something thats made from microsoft not microsoft certified... so i clicked ignore and it gave an error and it didnt install.
i installed Directx on all 3 of my pc's with no problem. whats the deal #1 why wont the webcam install easily like it does on my pc, and why doesnt directX install easily... OH AND BTW I DID RUN ADAWARE AND SPYBOT CLEANED IT ALL OUT B4 I DID ANYTHING Here is my hijack file thanks guys/girls

Well before you do anything I suggest that you visit Windows Update and install SP1 for both XP and internet Explorer

Ignore all warnings about certified drivers, all it means is that the manufacturer hasn't paid M$ to verify that it works. It doesn't that it won't work, and M$ aren't going to bother paying themselves ;)

As for the installation if they are USB devices, you are best off installing the drivers BEFORE you plug the device in

Hijack log looks fine
