hi i have found a process trying to access the internet on startup called spretrst.exe ..

Whenever i delete it comes back . have run ad aware housecall spybot ...
any pointers to what starts up spretrst or how i can search for what starts it would be gratefully appreciated..

Once it starts it loads tsmsetup sethcd nbtrstat smdbins

This is the logfile just taken after i have deleted the aforementioned processes from ctrl-alt-del.. Even when i delete spretrst from registry it comes back.
I have already changed the settings on IE which i think caused this in first place. But have noticed http://*63.219.181.7 keeps adding itself as trusted site..?
I also get a sex site page suddenly appearing.. also stuff asking me if i want a virus checker.
    pls help

Hi steveeee, Welcome to TSG!! :)

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,(Default) = http://clearsurfing.net/srch.php?qq=%s
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {0A80EB30-310F-4CC8-2836-0C614861F21F} - 321102.dll (file missing)

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {72045300-6EF1-11D9-9DE1-444553540000} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSLYS.DLL
    O3 - Toolbar: FreshBar - {06ABAA2D-34AB-4902-A326-409BD9B9A7A5} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IESP1.DLL
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mdac_runonce] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\runonce.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [prgsys0984] ___.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [34763] EXE32EXE.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WareOut] "C:\Program Files\WareOut\WareOut.exe"

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [XTermInit] dePloy.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [PasswdMon] InpriseMon.exe

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

    Restart in Safe Mode

Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab.
Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked.
Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files".
Now click "Apply to all folders", Click "Apply" then "OK"

    Delete these folders:
    C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\REGET SHARED
    C:\Program Files\WareOut

Search for each of these files and delete them if found:
    CToolBar.exe
    dePloy.exe
    InpriseMon.exe

    Reboot and post another log.

Hi have done that.. I had already deleted some of that stuff but it looks like thats it. I will not know for sure as the only prob that made itself known was an occasional sex site appearing but not very often. I am a little concerned about the password monitor thoiugh as i do carry out online banking(always with a https: secure site though). Is it possible someone may have got hold of some passwords because of this prog.?
    here's the log..

Regarding your question about passwords I would be safe and change them.
