Submitting a HiJackThis log without telling us why you're submitting it doesn't help us.

According to your log, you appear to have both Alwil Avast and AVG 2012 installed and running. (n)

Run the avg uninstaller fond here.
    http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities
    2:
Download Autoruns from the link below
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s...rnals/bb963902

    • 1: Extract the Autoruns Zip file contents to a folder.
      2: Double-click the "Autoruns.exe".
3: Click on the "Everything" tab
4: Remove any entries that mention "File Not Found" by right-clicking the entry and select Delete.
5: Go to File then to Export As or Save in some versions.
6: Save AutoRuns.txt file to known location like your Desktop.
7: Post in your next reply.

    redhorse88,

shuie hasn't even told us yet what the problem is. He/she doesn't necessarily wish to uninstall AVG. He/she might want to remove Avast instead?

There are also a couple more security programs we could remove, like Authentium antivirus and CA Pest Patrol.

There's no need to download Autoruns. HijackThis already gives us a good idea of what's running on that computer.

Let's wait for an answer from the original poster, shall we? :)

Ok Phantom I was just trying to help, but autoruns show a lot more than hijack this! And from browsing through the threads, on this forum. Avg is frowned upon, and is also not in the 04 categorey of the hijack this log. Thought that they may have uninstalled it, and the service is still running, that is the only reason I suggested running the avg removal tool.

Removing any entries that mention "File Not Found" in Autoruns will cause more harm than good... When I'm running Autoruns on my computer, I have many entries with "File Not Found" but they must NOT be deleted.

    Read THIS, especially #12.

By the way, I find it a lot easier to read than a text file when asking the following:
