Could somebody take a look at my hijack this log.
I'dont have any problems and my computer runs smoothly but I
just want to make sure about one the O4 items on my log
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [LDM] \Program\BackWeb-8876480.exe
Every time I run spybot S&D this BackWeb thing is listed in red
(probably spyware). I fix this but when I run spybot S&D the next
day he finds it again. Could this be something my computer needs
to start but why does Spybot lists this in red.

    read about backweb here:
    http://www.pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/B/Backweb.asp

i would "fix" these, they serve no purpose.
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [LDM] \Program\BackWeb-8876480.exe
    O4 - Global Startup: Logitech Desktop Messenger.lnk = C:\Program Files\Logitech\Desktop Messenger\8876480\Program\LDMConf.exe

and go to Start/Run/Msconfig, and uncheck Microsoft Office on the startup tab. It's not required.

    ;)

Agree with $teve ... both of those are installed with Logitech products. They are "used" to automatically check for software upgrades (but also "helpfully" alert you to new products, services and special offerings from Logitech ... yippee). They are not required, and you can manually start them should you feel the need to do so ... you'll also find this service listed under Logitech Desktop Messenger in Start/Programs.

I use a Logitech keyboard and mouse ... removed the Desktop Messenger, and have never needed to have the resource hog running automatically. Then again, I don't like things that phone home without me knowing about it.
