    Hi Daniel....You also have [email protected] and WORM_SDBOT.AKJ as well:rolleyes:

    ==================================================

    You are running HijackThis from your desktop, this is not a good idea because when we do a fix...HijackThis will create backups and they will be spread all over your desktop. Can you please create a folder for the program....call it Hijack (or something similar)its ok to leave the folder on the desktop for now. Then extract HijackThis into the folder you have created and run it from there. When you have done that,delete the previous copy of HijackThis that you have on your desktop.

    NOTE Do not place HijackThis in a Temp folder because we may ask you to delete all temp files in any removal process and that will delete the program and backups.
    =====================================================

    YOU MAY FIND IT EASIER TO PRINT THESE INSTRUCTIONS OUT.

    =====================================================

    Run hijackthis again and put a checkmark against these entries....double check
    in case you miss anything....
    .....then,close all browser and outlook windows INCLUDING THIS ONE and "fix checked"

    In HijackThis,hit the "Config"<"Misc Tools"<"Delete a file on reboot" buttons.

    MAKE SURE YOU DONT DELETE "Svchost"which is the correct windows file!!.

    ==============================
    Empty the Recycle Bin.
    ==============================
    Go to Start > Run and type %temp% in the Run box, press OK . The Temp folder will open. Click Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of that Temp folder.

    Then go to C:\windows\temp and select EVERYTHING except temporary internet files, cookies and history folders and delete all that and then do the same for C:\temp

    1) Open Control Panel
    2) Click on Internet Options
    3) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files
    4) Check the box "Delete all offline content"
    5) Click on OK.....wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the temporary internet files
    6) You can now click on "Delete Cookies" and click OK to delete cookies that websites have placed on your hard drive
    ==============================
    Turn off System Restore:

    On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
    Click Properties.
    Click the System Restore tab.
    Check Turn off System Restore.
    Click Apply, and then click OK.
    Restart your computer.(reverse these steps when clean)
    ===================================
    Last, but not least, you need to keep Windows and Internet Explorer up to date by getting all the latest security patches that protects your computer.

    This can be accessed by going to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and following the prompts. If you are running Windows XP get updated to SP-2
    When you are sure you are clean turn it back on and create a restore point.

    Re-boot and delete the:
    C:\Program Files\AdTools Service [Folder]

    ==================================

    Just to make sure your using Adaware to its full potential........
    Make sure its Adaware SE your using...In the main window look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now then click Connect....and download the latest reference files.

    From main window :Click Start then under Select a scan Mode tick Perform full system scan.

    Next deselect Search for negligible risk entries.

    Now to scan just click the Next button.

    When scan is finished mark everything for removal and get rid of it.(Right-click the window and choose"select all" from the drop down menu)

    ==========================================

    Run an online antivirus check from at least one and preferably 2 of the following sites....
    http://virusscan.jotti.dhs.org/
    http://www.kaspersky.com/remoteviruschk.html
    http://www.dials.ru/english/www_av/

    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
    http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/
    http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/

    Re-boot again.

    Then post a new HijackThis log to check what is left.
