I'm running Windows XP. This computer moves very slow with long intervals of the hourglass thinkiing. Sometimes I can get on the internet, sometimes not.

When I boot in safe mode it runs great. I can get on the internet without difficulty.

I've run spybot, adaware, AVG, Panda On Line, Micro On line, and Windows Defender. The only thing left when I ran Panda and Micro on line were a few cookies that they said rated a small threat.

Can someone review this Hijack this and see if I am missing something?

You don't need a lot of the applications you have in start up. Example would be QuickTime Task:
Click Start - Run, type in MSCONFIG, then click OK - "Startup" tab. Remove the checkmark from:

    QuickTime Task
    TkBellExe
    Adobe Reader Speed Launcher

Click Apply - OK afterwards, then reboot. When the SCU window appears during reboot, ignore the message. Place a checkmark in the window, then click OK.

You can research other startups at these sites and if they aren’t required at start-up then you can uncheck them in msconfig via Start - Run - type msconfig click OK and then click on the start-up tab.

You should also use the new version of HJT when posting logs for review.
    • Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
    • Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop.
    • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
    • Click on Install.
    • It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
    • Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
