hijacked browser

    My friend has been hijacked,so beeing the smarty pants I set up spybot,zone alarm,pop up stopper for him.It found loads of spyware but still the browser reverts back to some unwanted site.I then ran hijack this,and it looks diaboliical compared to the one you helped me out with on my own computer.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Only if you can please thankyou masters.

    First let me say I'm not a HJT expert, but I can tell you to run CollWebShredder to kill that browser hijacker. And to have HJT "fix" all of the R0 and R1 entries. Make sure you close all browsers before you fix.

    One of the experienced guys or gals will know a lot more about the others on the log than I do. But it is a start.

    Also your version of Hijack This is outdated so update it before posting another log.

    Open Hijack This and click on the "Config" button in the lower right corner then click on the "Misc tools" button then click on "Check for update online" and dowload the update and post the log from that.
