my MOM's computer... It is giving her this msg: WINDOWS/System32/rundll32.exe and it won't let her open anything. Is this a registry prob? Because her computer is directing her to a registry cleaner and she can't open anything! And we tried Safemode... same thing.

Are you unable to open .exe files? (meaning any programs)

What version of Windows? XP? Vista?

    Download the EXEFIX: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/xp_exe_fix.reg

Save the .reg file to your desktop. Double click it to merge it to the registry. Restart the computer.

If the fix only opens as a text file, right click it and select Open With > Choose Program
    Then select the Registry Editor.

If the Registry Editor is not in the list, browse to C:\WINDOWS and select regedit.
