    HijackThis log file analysis

Great online HijackThis log file analysis.
It shows each thing in your log as a Safe, Nasty or Unknown and other info.

    Hi hewee,

I have tried this helping page. It is not completely reliable. Some good entries are specified as nasty and some nasty ones are specified as safe.
Example : the DPF entry related to TrendMicro online virus scan is marked as nasty.
Also, some entries may not be fixed by HijackThis; you need special tools to correct some of them.
A HijackThis log must be analyzed line by line, word by word, letter by letter (for people who have dyslexia).
The helping page is a good survey but each line must be deeply checked.

I know it is not 100 % right but from what I got from running it I think it did a ok job on my log.

If you or someone can read the log then here it is and you can use the analysis to see if all was ok or not.

One I am not sure of is this one.
    O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {578FC4E3-151E-456c-AF8E-B63061EFE228}} - (no file)

But I don't how to read the logs and am going by pass logs I have posted that others said were ok and keep them so I can then see the new things in my HJT log and look back at the logs I know are ok.

I think most of the experienced moderators have already commented on this in one thread or another. We do not recommend its use as a substitute for expert review. Experienced analysts don't need it, and inexperienced ones cannot rely on it or will be misled by it.

I tested on one log and found right off the bat it was misidentifying legitmate entries as malware.
