Use Windows Explorer or Find to get to the log file that HJT created.
Highlight the file and then hold down the shift key as you right click on the file.
On the menu there should be an option that says 'Open With'.
Click on Open With and you will get a window with a list of programs on your computer.
Scroll down and find and highlight NotePad.
Put a check mark in the box that says, 'Always use this program to open this file type'
    Click on OK
From now on, anytime you click on a log file, it will open in NotePad. :)

    Good Luck (y)

I did the stuff you said but when i click open with nothing happens. the log file is already a paint file and its not one of those files that you have to chose a program to open with(the ones that their icon is a white background with a windows sign in the middle).its icon is a MS paint icon.
    What should i do?
