Does the content of the C:\WINDOWS\repair\reset.bat file look like the one in
http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=19875
with the hacking credits ? (open it in notepad)

If so - fix these 2 using HijackThis - and reboot
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k
O4 - Global Startup: Reset.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\repair\reset.bat

You'd likely also want to see what other goodies are present in C:\WINDOWS\repair\ if that was a baddie rather than part of some legit utility

In particular - if it's a baddie - can you post the contents of the .bat file (and it's creation date) here as well as the contents of any .cmd file it references (.cmd is similar to a .bat file)
That way, we might be able to figure out if any damage was done
