I have McAfee on this computer and whenever i open internet explorer, the rad alert screen comes up saying it deleted startpage-du but it just reinstalls itself seconds later. At first it wasn't too bad, but now I can't use IE at all cuz it won't go to any page but about:blank and 3 or 4 pop-ups come up. I use mozilla as well, so i mostly jsut ignored it but it also began affecting aim. Whenever a new message screen pops up, the same thing happens. Even if i open mcafee security center, it is replaced withthe about:blank page. I've searched the answer to this for a while and hev tried numerous thing: McAfee, Ad-Aware, CWShredder, and editing the registry (those HKey things)... I've tried in regular and safe mode but notin seems to work, so this is basically my last resort... Thanks is advance for any help, It'd be greatly appreciated.
