Just had a bunch of trojans, viruses, adware hit my system
and have tried to get rid of everything with adaware, spybot, norton and manual delete. Some of my desktop icons disappeared and when I try to make new ones, it says they are already there. Some programs disappeared from the start/programs menu though they are in my computer. Also I never downloaded the msoft xlml update, thought I didn't need it on one machine....I'm WIN 2K.
Also tried a program, registry mechanic, pc bug doctor and error nuker besides norton windoctor

Thanks, Bruce
