Hi Sooky,

That's a clean log, although for the future you might want to update to the latest version of HJT. At the moment that's v1.97.2.

Cheers

If you didn´t lock your IE options intentionally, maybe you want to check those and have them fixed:

O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present

Would Mozilla or Shields Up - have any affect on these settings
?
If not - could you please explain further for me as what to do because I don't recall changing anything intentionally ?????

Thanks Lu

Have you got Spybot installed? Spybot can put these restrictions in to prevent homepage hijacking

Sooky 47 :)

That item is to keep.......it´s a part of your WMP and several other functions related to media in Windows. You don´t want to remove that one.
