    You can get the latest version from http://java.com

    Your log looks ok. Could you give more details as to what these advertisements say?

    Thanks Brendan. I will remove the Java programs.

    I will post more information about the advertisements as soon as i get another one. I think they may be from a game i downloaded. 9 games in 1 arcade games, "Classic Arcade Pack".

    i downloaded the latest version of java, java 5.0, and i'm wondering how will it affect my pc ???

    is java just mainly for games ?
