Go to this site and download the New.Net removal tool:

    http://www.newdotnet.com

Scroll to the bottom of the page to procedure 4 and download and run the
    New.Net removal tool.

then remove new.net from c:\program files.

do a ctr/alt/del and in taskmanager stop these processes if running.

    Xhrmy.exe
    MFCS.EXE

download this tool, but don't run it yet, sometimes your internet connection gets damaged whrn New.net is removed this will rpair it if that happens.

you'll need to run the LSPfix to repair winsock.

    http://cexx.org/lspfix.htm

have hijack this fix these entries. close all browsers and programmes before
    clicking FIX.
