When coming to my computer today, I opened IE. The home page was: mk:mad:MSITStore:C:\WINDOWS\start.chm::/start.html
It said "Porn catagories" at the top and listed pictures with a bunch of pornography type stuff.
I changed it to my regular home page and then it came back.
So, I would like to know how I would go about getting rid of this garbage.
    Thanks a lot!

I'm not sure but it may be a variant of CoolWebSearch browser hijack. In any event, it wouldn't hurt to run CWS shredder, reboot and then post another log.

    You can get it here:

    http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/CWShredder.exe

Close all browser windows, open cwshredder.exe then click "Fix" and let it run.

Then restart your computer and post another log.

IMPORTANT! To help prevent this from happening again, you should install all the security patches and critical updates.

Can you tell us how you fixed it? The solution might help someone else with the same problem.
