I created my homepages http://members.aol.com/magimoment several years ago with Sierra web page designer and it has been running fine all this time. In a recent update of the pages, they now have a HOMETOWN banner on top of each of the three pages.
I have been trying by every means I know how including having received (no help) from seven AOL techs including a frustrating phone call to AOL Help ( tech responded by saying " this is not in my area of expertise"
Question: Has AOL members now been placed into AOL Hometown? I am NOT a member of hometown, I am not in one of their commuinities: hence, hometown does not know me and because of that I can't get the bloody thing off my pages by any delete method that I have tried. I did mention to AOL that since they put this thing on top of my pages that they should remove it. ( no help so far ) Question: anyone else having this problem and HOW do I GET RID of these banners?
    Thanks
    Bob

I don't think you can unless you move the site away from AOhell

everybody using AOhell appears to have the hometown banner on their site
