HI , I am trying to help a friend of mine who has four little boys who also use her computer. I run adaware and spybot search and destroy EVERY time I go over there but something seems to have hijacked her home page and I can't find it. I also ran cool web shredder last time I was there and then did a hijack this log to take home. There are some VERY odd things going on in that computer that adaware and spybot can't seem to find. Could someone please take a look at the hijack this log and see if they can find anything. Thank you very much.

Hi Dust Sailor, you didn't leave a link for cool web search removal tool.. though I had done that just before I posted that log. I think there is a more updated version .. can someone post it for me please so I make SURE I have the right one. I do believe I saw it once and forgot to bookmark the page. Plus I did update adaware and spybot just before I did that scan and then posted the log. I will TRY to get the lady with the computer to do this again but I am not sure I can talk her through it and she lives a fair way off from me. I am wondering if you found anything specific in there now that points in any direction ? I won't be able to get to her place for about 3 weeks so if I have to do this and can't talk her through it , it could be a long process. One thing I am not sure of is does one have to be logged into the administrator's account to clean the entire computer? I was logged into HER( which is their main account ) account on it but I really do wonder IF they remembered to password the administrator account and/or if she will remember it if they did . She is very computer illiterate and wouldn't realize the significance of it..

HI sorry it took so long to get all of this done but the lady with the computer isn't very computer literate and I had to wait until I had enough time to go over there and run all this stuff myself. I ran the two av programs and spybot and adaware , deleted the files you said to delete after rebooting ,rebooted again and ran another hijack this log, which is here . Thank you so much for your help . :)
