Homrgroup Printer Sharing

Hello, so I'm trying to print my documents from my laptop and I have joined my Desktop's Homegroup Network. My printer, Canon Pixma MP150 is installed in my desktop and is enabled for printing sharing. All is well, drivers are working correctly on the desktop, but when I go to the Homegroup section on my laptop, it says that "Homegroup found a new shared printer on your home network. Installing it will make it available for everyone on this computer." Then there is an "Install printer" button however when I click the button nothing shows up. Any help would do, thanks

I'm sorry, but none of the solutions are mentioning the homegroup sharing, mind explaining it a bit further? Or is it just the Printer solution that you meant
