does anyone do alot of downloading?
because that is what it sounds like, someone downloaded some program, and decided to run it, and what it does is just multiply, at least that's what it sounds like, it might have been a keygen type of file, and it would most likely have the same size as it's "Clones"

You might want to try an anti virus program, but ad aware se might find it, get it Here , you could also try just search Major Geeks

Make use of both Ad-aware SE Personal 1.05 and Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.3. Make sure to run their update function after installing them so that the latest detection files are installed. Remove everything that Ad-aware finds and remove everything in red that Spybot finds.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

Go into Find - Files And Folders and delete everything that appears under:

    *.TMP

    C:\TEMP\*.*

    C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\*.*

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

A buildup of spyware and temp files can cause all kinds of problems.
