I use www.dreamhost.com on the lite side for support, but only $9.95/mo for basic hosting, including perl, and CGI etc (I believe).

I wish that would have been easier to find when I switched, but I do get much more storage space for the buck with mine.

Can't find any info about a secure site certificate or database support at RadioTower. I suppose I have to give them a e-mail, especially if it helps Techguy out.

Bassetman, viewing your source code it shows,
    !-- For midi file--/!
close to the bottom, Where's the midi?

For info, this is the site I'm moving. www.suncopool.com
It needs a remake and a nice new home.
I've been playing with it recently as shown by www.suncopool.com/test/

Tired of fighting hosting company for perl, cgi, ssl, etc.

I adopted the site two weeks ago, added a few scripts, can't do much with present hosting company.

Gotrootdude I used to have a MIDI (hound dog) that I had on the site, but thought people might find it annoying. I left the script (remarked out) in case I just wanted to stick it back in.
Your site looks good. Have you considered using PayPal and letting them dot the CGI script for you on their server?
I have set those up before.

It's a work in progress, I just got handed it two weeks ago and told "make it work", I'd like to interface it with our own bookkeeping system, but I'd need some sort of database support to do it. Offline credit card processing is okay, but I'd still need the secure certificate. I'd also like to use more effects but am limited to javascript since the hosting company doesn't support anything. It's a real bummer. I can't even get a decent counter on the page, the hosting company provides the counter on the bottom, but it seems to take forever to load.

To anyone who wants to critique the site: This site and the test site are really not ready for viewing, I have tons of work to do to it. The fonts are the wrong colors still, the background colors are going to change, there may be a watermark added. Menus are going to be changed. The only product up on the test site can't even be shipped which is okay since the order form isn't working yet anyway.

It'll be very professional when it's done.

    panzer999 Thanks.

I think we might have a winner. Their level two hosting plan looks like everything I'll need.

It's between iPowerWeb and the one you recommended.
