    Hi
    I run windows 98.
    Since upgrading to 6.0,i don't log in automatically to Hotmail.
    It tries to open,but fails.
    I have to open MSN Messenger,and click sign-in.
    Any ideas how i can get it to open when i connect to i/net?
    Many Thanks

    sure is.. thats what I did and it worked great after that.. and if it doesnt work or you want to get rid of it from startup then type "msconfig" in the run box, then click startup and then uncheck the msgr box.
    This was what I did and everything was great

    Hi,
    All you need to start MSN Messenger at the startup MSN Messenger when windows loads is to perform the following steps.

    1. Open MSN Messenger.
    2. Click on tools--> options
    3. Click on the general tab.
    4. Check the option that says" Automatically run messenger when log on to Windows"

    I am sure that this wil work for you when it works for me.
