Not being very wise in the field of e-mails, I need a second e-mail address to be able to use a freebie on both my main PC and my laptop. Same user ID won't be accepted on both!
Can I send & receive the startup mails using hotmail? That will probably be the only time I will use it as my b/band ISP gives me a full user name and p/word facility.
Hope this makes sense?

You can send and receive email with Hotmail, as soon as you set up an account. To keep the email address, you have to login to it at least once a month, or it will automatically be cancelled.
I hope this helps with your question.

Thanks Don, I don't think that will be any use to me I only need it for a one or 2 off. Also I don't think it will be possible to use OE to send & receive, only webmail. Perhaps I'll try G mail (if someone will invite me)
