Subject: hotmail - webmail - unable to download and/or view files from home computer

Hello. Ok long story made short. I was going to download some files I sent myself from a school terminal, but when I got home I to open &/or download the file via webmail - hotmail.com, I get an error message. Also, I tried forwading the message, but the file got screwed up. Attached is the error message.

Can anybody help?

Error Message Typed Out. Note I removed the IP address:

"Internet Explorer cannot download …ail%2ecom&_lang=EN&country=US from 00.00.000.

Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."

Thank you all.

Try putting them in a zip file. Are they pdf files?
One is a .pdf and another is .rtf. I haven't tried the PDF at school, but I can download the .rtf @ school with no problems.

I had the same problem with pdf's for a while and changed something in IE to make it work. I think it was unchecking the "empty temporary internet files folder when browser is closed". That is in Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab.
