    Hello,

    As part of a trade stand here in the UK I would like to be able to show a range of slides of finished work and part of the manufacturing process.

    Can this be done on a laptop or are there better ways?

    Regards....Mike

    yes - loads of ways to run a slide show
    You could use something like powerpoint and set it up to run as an installation
    or
    irfanview will run a slide show { www.irfanview.com }
    also I think windows XP has slideshow built it - but never used.

    I have used powerpoint as i had a lot of control over the final format and effects

    i would get an external monitor connected to laptop
