How can I scan documents to multi-page tif now that I have Windows XP?

I just paid $1,000 for a new PC that has Windows XP.
I was using Kodak Imaging that came with Windows 98 to create multi-page tif files. I simply want to scan my three page bank statement and store it as a multi-page tif file.

I can't find any way to create a multi page tif on my new PC with Windows XP. It seems like the answer will be, "Spend even more money and buy more software"
For creating multi-page tif files it seems XP is a step backwards from Windows 98.

Do you have any suggestions?
