Please get Spybot S&D to clear out any spyware.
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=mirrors

Install the program and open it.

Before doing any scanning click Online and Search for Updates .
Put a check mark at and install all updates.

Click Check for Problems and when the scan is finished have Spybot fix all it finds marked in red.

Then after reboot:
Download 'Hijack This!'. http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Your download speed : 348557 bps, or 348 kbps.
A 42.5 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 86655 bps, or 86 kbps

im not sure if i do but i found one today right on top of my comp...i was testing the internet and i looked up and there it is a small grey rat. maybe when i was gone for 2 days he kept knawing on my wires

That has to be the slowest highspeed i think i have ever seen. I would seriously call you isp and first ask then what download and upload you should be getting. Then tell them your download is 348 kilobytes per second and your upload is at 86 kilobytes per second . Ask thenm to check the lines as well..I had similar troubles one time and all the isp did was swithed the server I was using to another while I was on the phone and poof..

Be prepared with your case to the isp as they aren't fond on taking suggestions about problems especially when its on thier end...
