hello, ive got a wireless network at my house which is password protected, i gave the password to an old room-mate who was staying with me at the time so he could access the internet with his laptop. he moved out about 9 months ago, and recently ive been seeing on my pc a notification that my computer has discovered a "branden-pc" (branden is the name of my old room-mate) and asks me to either allow or deny it to be able to access my media files. i know that its my old room-mate coming and sitting outside my house in his car to pick up my internet, and i do not want that going on. he could be illegally downloading copywrighted materials or god knows what, in fact i know that he downloads movies illegally. so im sure you can understand why i want to change the password, i dont want his movie pirating (or anything else he may do) to come back on me and get me in trouble, ive already got two strikes with my ISP (from him pirating movies when he lived here.) one more and my service gets terminated and i become ineligible to recieve it from them in the future.

i know what my password to the network is and everything, i just can not figure out how to change it to a new one.

please help i need to get this password changed before he gets me in more trouble with my ISP and i lose my internet for good.

You would need to go to the router setup page using your internet browser.
You should be able find instructions at the router manufacturers website
    support section.
If you don't remember the router login, you should find instructions to
reset it at the website also.
The password should be under the wireless settings, but you can
just run the setup wizard and go through the steps to set it up again.
