how do i change what programs load when i turn my comp on?

    how do i change the programs that start loading up when i turn my computer on?

    You can change what loads on startup in the System Configuration Utility. Go to Start > Run, and type in "msconfig" without the quotes. Click on the "Startup" tab, and this provides a list of programs that run on startup.

    Be careful with this tool though. It would be best to post what programs are on this list, and we can provide info on what is OK to disable.
