I'm beaten guys! Somehow all my iCloud photos (5744) are no longer on the Cloud BUT they are all happily living on One Drive but no way I can get them into the Cloud!

I have Googled the world and whilst it seems pretty easy if you own an Apple Mac, I just can't find the way to do it from Windows 10.

I have tried all the suggestions but none of them work for me!

Off topic I know but I have the same identical photos on my Apple 4 Min iPad but with a similar situation, no can do!

Any help appreciated!

you can use the PC and the icloud windows control panel
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205323

or upload by logging into icloud.com

https://www.cnet.com/uk/how-to/upload-photos-to-icloud-photo-library-from-a-computer/

BUT do you know why they have all disappeared

Are you using icloud photo library on your apple devices ?

even if deleted in error - Apple should be able to get all the photos back if its been less than 30 days since they disappeared

But its worth knowing why they have been removed
How much space are you using , you have to pay for icloud space over 5GB and icoud photo library does use your allocation of space - unlike camera roll in the past that did not

remember icloud and onedrive is NOT a backup system
its a synchronisation service , if you want to keep a backup online you need to be using a backup service like carbonate or iderive.com

You might want to look into using Google photos. It offers unlimited storage for standard sizes and a program that will sync all of them automaticllay between your devices.
