So apparently I am able to add multiple domains and create multiple sites on my host account (at startlogic).

I don't know how to do this, because I already have a website there, and in my file manager there is only 1 public_html folder.

So how do I create a second website without altering the first?

Can I simply create a public2_html folder and add the new website there?

Do you have cpanel or a control panel for your hosting?

If you have purchased another domain name then you need to add that as an add-on domain in the control panel. If you haven't purchased another domain then you need to setup a sub-domain. A subdomain has a name such as photos and to get to it you go to http://photos.current-domain.com. So you need to go to your web hosting control panel and create a sub-domain. Usually this will create a folder within public_html for that site and it is there that you put all the website files for this new site.

You cannot create a new top level folder as you suggest in your OP.
