I have recently bought SIMS Themepark for my daughter. It will not run on my computer. I called the company's tech support line and the tech told me that I did not have a big enough video card. They said that I needed 4 mb. I have an IBM Aptiva that is 2 years old. According to the description of my computer, I have 8 mb allotted to video. We have recently upgrade to 264 mb of RAM. When I run the dxdiag for the game, it shows that I have only 1 mb. Help, I do not know what to do!!! Thanks in advance for the help.

Perhaps you have one of those motherboards that allow you to share system memory with the video card. Look in the BIOS for these settings. Been a long time since I have set up a board like that so you will have to do some digging. Most newer systems have video cards that have thier own memory busses and on-board memory to take strain off the processor and main memory buss.
