I have windows xp and what I'd like to know is.... In IE how do I delete the addresses that show up in the down arrow menu of the address bar? I think the version of IE is 5.5 or 6.0.

If you have WinXP you are using IE6.
The Web addresses can be removed by clearing the History. Go to Internet Explorer and click the tools up top then Internet options. Once there on the General tab click Clear History.

Let us know if that takes care of it.

Actually the memory isn't gone it is that we have a tendancy to stuff everything we can in there and it gets a bit cluttered after awhile!;)

    Take Care.

Boing-If you want to just clear the dropdown list and leave your history of visited internet sites go to Start\Settings\Taskbar & Start Menu\Start Menu Programs\Clear.

PS-If you want the version of your IE go to Help\About Internet Explorer.
