how do i edit my regestry

    id like to edit the name my computer is registered to i have windows 98 can some one tell me how to do this.
    step by step would be nice. I'm not to bright on the computer yet but I'm trying.

    Hi towens309,
    Click on the Start menu, and select Run.
    Type in "regedit" in the field, and click OK.
    Find the key:
    Windows 98: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
    Modify 'RegisteredOwner' and 'RegisteredOrganization' to become whatever you desire.
