I was given an older Toshiba laptop as a donation. It is a :

    Windows ME
    Toshiba Satelite 2800 v1.01 (toshiba 2805-5202)
    Version 4.90.3000 Build 3000
    System type x-86 based pc
    Processor Pentium (r) 111
    384 MB RAM

How can I find out the processor speed?

Without downloading anhything you can go to Start -> Run -> type DXIDIAG and press ENTER. It should tell you the speed.
