How do I get a the UDMA controller configured?

    I bought a 13.6 HD that has UDMA 66, but I was reading my Board specs and it only mentions UDMA 33,and I previously had a 1 gig that is now the slave,and it does not have UDMA, so the new drive is in there right now, I pretty much just popped it in and went on with my ignorant self.but anyway I would appreciate it someone could point me into the right way thanks alot.
