My CallWave had been working fine. But today, when I try to listen to messages, I get a CallWave (written) message that it can't retrieve the messges because I don't have Codec 6.10. It has me go to New Hardware to get that, which has me put in my Windows 98 installation disk, but then I get a message that Codec 6.10 isn't on that disk.

I don't know how I could have had it one day and not the next and I don't know where I can get it back.

    Can anyone help? grandpaw7

    It's a default codec in win98..

To add all the default codecs in Windows, follow these steps:
In Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
On the Windows Setup tab, click Multimedia or Sounds and Multimedia, and then click Details.
Click the Audio Compression and Video Compression check boxes to select them, and then click OK.
    Click OK.
