Hi. I'm currently running Win7 and wanted to map a drive for sharing files on my LAN, but I'm not sure about the procedure. I have created a volume on my hd, and mapped the network drive, but am not sure on how other computers on the network are supposed to access the network drive.

    Any help would be appreciated.

in an explorer window, right click on it and navigate to "share with". enter all necessary info and the other computers on the network should be able to see it and access it.
