I've been having FB Messenger notices pop up. They're little circles with someone's pic or a logo inside & they make noise when they appear. When I try to get rid of them, they run away.

I found that by holding the circle an X circle appears, but it's on a different part of the screen. When I try to click it, it runs away too. If I continue to hold the original pic circle while clicking the X, I have better success. However, it still often takes 4-5 attempts to catch these rascals & close them.

They are annoying. I have notifications turned off on all apps in my settings specifically because I don't want my phone constantly making noise & disturbing me just because someone thinks I have to know something they want to tell me.

    So my questions are:
    1. How do I close these things when they appear?

    2. Why do they appear even though I've got all notifications from all apps turned off in my settings?

    And, most important of all,
    3. How do I stop these things from popping up in the first place?

    Thanks.
