I accidentally checkmarked the 'automatically download' option while downloading something and now I have no idea how to uncheck that option? I don't want everything I download off I.E. 6.0 to automatically download to the TEMP folder..it's not what I want.

-Is there a way to fix this?

In IE6, click tools, internet options, security, internet zone, and scroll down til you see download options and change it there.

Or go to internet options, advanced and look under browsing. That might be the setting you are talking about.

The safest thing is to uncheck, or disable, install on demand. If you have install on demand enabled, you are subject to getting unwanted downloads of spyware, browser hijackers and unwanted junk.

    HTH.
