Hi guys, I'm using a program which uses MS Access as the engine (with code on top). The program shows database details relating to a document and also the scanned image of the document at the same time. The screen is split in two.
As I can't afford a 21" monitor, is there any way I could use 2 monitors with 1 showing the details from the database & the other showing the image? I've seen guys using Microstation, an autocad type drafting program where they use 2 monitors simultaneously, one showing the detail & the other the complete image.
Any ideas would be appreciated .

Do a search on your system for a file called Display.txt and open it with Wordpad or Notepad. Then look for the section titled "Multiple Display Support".

That will give you a general idea of what's needed.

Hope that helps.

The GeForce 2 MX video card has built in dual monitor support. You can’t tap this unless you get one specifically labeled for dual VGA. There are other dual monitor cards available but this was the best I could find a few months ago. It will come with good instructions.

You can also just add another PCI video card. Here is a good tutorial if you go that route: http://freepctech.com/pc/001/guide_dual_monitors.shtml
