How do i use my Monitors USB ports

    Well i recently downloaded the drivers for my monitor the Compaq P1100 and i wanted to put some wires on the USB drive and so i put wut i wanted but windows still dosent detect it does anyone have an idea how to use or fix it thanks

    Usually the monitor simply contains a USB hub or splitter. You need to connect the USB input to the hub/splitter to a USB port on your main PC before the monitor ports will show up.

    In your case connecting the one USB input from your monitor to your PC should give 4 outputs on the monitor base.

    It need not show up to Windows when you connect the hub, but anything connected to the hub should show up as normal. That depends on your Windows version. Which you neglected to mention what that was

    Be aware that some devices will not work through a hub, and require connection direct to the main port on the PC.
