How do you delete backgrounds?

    You know when you go to control panel > display > desktop, it will give you a list of backgrounds you can use. I set a few pictures to be my background and didn't like them, so I want to know how to kick them out of this list so it doesn't get too cluttered. Where are these stored on the drive so that I can delete them? )Using XP Home, btw)

    They should be in your windows folder.
    Just move them to another folder and they should not show up in the list.
    Only the .bmp images in the windows folder show up in the background list or they do with 95 and 98 so not sure about XP.
