Hi, We recently did some "house cleaning" in our computer and deleted several partitions that we no longer needed. Our Outlook backup file used to be kept in the "O" partition, but now because of the house cleaning it has changed the partition drive letter.

Now we can't make backups because the program can't find the file :(

How, or where, do we change where the Outlook backup file is kept :confused:

Go into Outlook and go to File>Archive. The window that pops up will have folder location for the archive file.

As well, you can search all hard drives for "*.pst".

OK apparently our problem has nothing to do with the house cleaning or the partitions drive letters changing. Here is what the backup program is doing whenever we try to use it.

It pops up with this message box;

Drive O is our DVD burner. How do we get the Outlook backup program to save the backup in the right place, and stop asking for drive "O"?

That is for the archive file, not the backup file ;)

The backup file is set to the right address, it just keeps asking for the DVD burner for some reason :eek:

This is what we are trying to change...

Yes it is a program from Outlook. You can find it on their web site. It backs up your entire Outlook messages. If I get a chance tomorrow I will post a link to it. However it should have nothing to do with the "insert in drive O" message that we are getting. We just need to know how to get rid of that error.
