    Im using OpenOffice 3.0 (Writer)
My Printer is a Canon iP4300

I am using OpenOffice Writer (3.0) to make double sided business cards.
I have a set up a table on an A4 page with the business cards on columns 1 & 3 with
column 2 and every row after a business card being empty cells to divide the cards to make it easier to cut them out.

however it doesn't matter what I do, the back of the business card is never in line with the front

does anyone know how to do it and get PERFECT alignment, im wasting tons of paper & ink here

Have you tried using Avery pre-scored business card sheets? They are usually fairly simple to adjust the alignment. Most printers have special settings for specific Avery forms. My Canon Pixma MP830 prints duplex, so my alignment for printing both sides is pretty accurate.
