After my last ‌Windows 10 update, the home screen for Windows Defender was completely changed. Now there is no way to update manually, yet I keep getting messages in Desktop Notifications that Defender needs updating, despite the fact that on the WD home screen, every section shows "No action needed."
Is the Update hidden, somewhere? Is this a glitch to be ignored?
Windows 10 Pro
Version 1803
Installed on 11/6/2018
OS Build 17134.376
Running on Bootcamp on iMac.

Boy, MS is making things harder every day.

Click Start, then type "Vir" and you should see "Virus & Threat Protection"
Select it, and you will now see "Check for up dates" near the bottom of the screen.

Thank you, DaveA. That worked, but I had to type the whole word virus.
