Anyway, turned on my other pc a while ago and all I have been doing is deleting files from my desktop. Did a virus scan with avg and itr shows no virus. I click on thunderbird and every icon highlights and then duplicates. I then have to click each icon individualy to unhighlight them. Bottom line is the pc is unuseable at this time. Anyone ever experience this and what is going on. I had up to 20 duplicates of everything on my desktop.
Please Mr. tech guys help :(

I haven't. I started another scan and I think m worst fear is comong to being. It just just ended. But it took over an hour. I am hoping that all of these shortcuts did not also affect the files and give me twn of everything.
Anway again it found nothing. How can it find nothing. There has to be something there. I di have a trojan virus in kernel32 a generic one but that has been locked up for weeks.
I really would like to find the problen. Fortunalty I have this other computer and others. Bit this HP has given me problems since day one. As soon as they send me the cd drive (one year) I am selling it

This problem is pretty unusual. I don't think I've seen something like that before...

To assist in your problem, we need you to download HijackThis (http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip). Extract it to a folder like C:\Program Files\HijackThis. Run it, and select 'Scan'. Do not fix anything yet, just select 'Save log', and copy the contents of the log to your next post.

An expert will be along shortly to review your log.
