i hate having to go through each and every single folder setting the view type as "details". there must be a option that sets all the folders on my hardrive that way. i am running off winxp if that makes any diffrence. thanks.

    Go to explorer.

    Set the view to details.

    Go to tools, folder options.

    Go to the view tab.

There is an option to set all folders like current. Click it, and it will set all the folders to display just like the current folder.
