I downloaded this from the web http://www.xstreamradio.co.uk/. It says that it is a radio containing 700 stations and a recorder. What I got was software that allows you to enter the name of a radio station and when you click the go button it then sends you to that radio's web site. It doesn't list 700 radio stations and I don't see how you can use it as a recorder.
Am I missing something here? I read somewhere that some of these sites have the ability to record an entire song even if has already started on the radio. Is that true?

Don't know about that particular one but I would recommend http://www.pandora.com/ where you can decide yourself on the type of music they play. (y)
And if you get Audacity [a free program] you can record anything that they do play.

Audacity can be used for other on line radio stations too.

You might consider Screamer Radio, it's a free package that will record directly from the streaming radio station.

I downloaded Screamer Radio and I've been trying to find stations that I like. The problem is that the broadcasts continue to fade out and the word "buffering" keeps showing up. Does this keep happening because I have a phone line connection? Also, I've even checked the forums and I still can't find the instructions for this site. Are there instructions available somewhere?

I suspect that a dial-up connection isn't going to get it for Internet radio. :)
